We are a small local farm located in Washington Texas, between Houston and Austin.
We started this project with the purpose of providing our families, friends and neighbors healthy, nutritious, rich in flavor, fresh, locally grown and sustainable food free of chemicals, preservatives, hormones, GMO’s, soy, antibiotics of any kind without harming the environment and with the commitment to encourage everyone and the next generations to learn more about alternative and sustainable farming systems. Most of our production is obtained through Aquaponics.
Scarcity of water and our highly polluted environment requires immediate action to protect and preserve our health and life. The prime objective is to encourage healthy conditions of life: soil fertility, plant and animal health and high quality products. Food safety and environmental sustainability are our business main guidelines.
Lizu studied marine biology and Octavio is a lawyer with posgraduate studies in human rights. Friends since childhood they have decided to spend their lives at the Farm. A happy working couple; Two Farmers enjoying the amazing endeavor of producing clean natural food while taking care of the living beings that share the world with them.
